corporate 1Studies have proven the benefits of wellness programs such as Pilates in the workplace, assist in the management of stress, maintaining employee health and improving work performance. Work related injuries can be prevented with improved posture and body awareness gained through Pilates.

The two single biggest causes of workplace absenteeism are muscularskeletal problems (mainly back and neck related) and stress. Pilates workouts improve flexibility and posture, strengthens the core muscle groups and helps to align the body correctly. Not only does Pilates reduce the risk of injury, it’s also effective against back pain and postural problems.

The physical benefits aren’t the only advantages. Pilates techniques require focus, concentration and breathing making the class a highly enjoyable “time out” from the pressures of work. Your highly qualified instructor has a unique results driven approach that allows participants to see and feel the benefits fast.

The Pilates classes can be held during work hours, all you need is a space big enough to hold the classes (preferably carpeted). Ideally the classes should run for a minimum of 6 week blocks to allow the participants to learn the Pilates principles and set foundations that can be built on as the weeks progress. For hygiene purposes, participants are to provide their own Pilates / Yoga mat or towel. Mats can be purchased at a discounted price.

I have been attending Desi’s Pilates classes for 7 years now. Of all the treatments I’ve sought for back problems, ie: physio, chiro, osteo, acupuncture & massages, Pilates exercise program under Desi’s instruction is, for me, the solution to gaining core strength as well as improving my coordination, posture and flexibility. From the beginning of January this year I wanted to try pilates classes with an experinced and fully qualified instructor.I found the Best one in Sydney Desi Tamati she has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years. I train Every Tuesday with Desi (outdoors)for one hour for me I have notice  a massive change with eating the right foods and drinking plenty of fresh juices and water also I have  notice my weight and excess fat  more leaner  and sleeping better.I chose Desi for her professionalism ,warm friendly nature,open minded ,great advise when it come to nutrition and muscle and bone  capabilities.
